MCA 5th semester students visited one of the leading IT company—ACCENTURE , in Bangalore on 31st August 2015 accompanied by Mrs. Neha Agarwal – HOD, Dept of CA (TJC). The visit was organized by our Alumni of 2008 batch Mr. Shailendra Kumar, who is currently working as a Tech. Lead in Accenture, Bangalore.
Industrial visits form an integral part of the curriculum so that the student gets an opportunity to experience the practice environment that which provides an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
Industrial visit was planned with a transport facility availed by the college to the company, to give our students a practical exposure to the current working of Industries and to relate the same to what they study in their course of MCA. Our students interacted with the workers and officials of the industry and gained knowledge about the Production process, HR Policies and Procedures, Marketing strategies, Financial aspects, Quality of Work Life, Employee morale and satisfaction index.
This type of industrial exposure was very much required - as to help our students to get familiar with the policies, procedures and working environment in industries so that they can easily adapt themselves to the changing business world when it comes to their future assignments in their professional life after completion of their course. This also makes them to be employable by industries. “Students appreciated for having such a useful visit to IT places, and also expected much more visits of the same to various other companies in the coming future”.
