Guest Lecture on “RDBMS” For BCA And MCA Students of CA Dept. TJC


The Department of Computer Applications, TJC organized a guest lecture on “RDBMS” concept in Database Management System. The lecture was mainly focused on expressing the wider DBA opportunities in stack, for both BCA and MCA students on 8th August, 2015 and the lecture was given by our 2008 MCA passout student Mr. Shailendra Kumar, currently working as DBA in Accenture company.


The lecture was centric towards explaining the career growth in the field of RDBMS, which inspired many of the students to join the course and make it their career in future. The approach to the topic with suitable examples attracted students. The lecture mainly focused on expressing What is database? RDBMS, non-RDBMS, Which is the leading database technology in market?, What is the career scope in database technology?, eligibility criteria to get into database field, career growth in this database field and many more. Moreover it was a very interactive session and students participated with great interest.
