Department of Computer Applications, T. John College had organized a two day “National android developer challenge, India 2015” intercollegiate workshop on “ANDROID APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT” on 13th and 14th of February 2015 in association with ARK-Techno solutions, IIT Bombay and T.JOHN College for both UG and PG Computer Science/Computer Applications students hosted & trained by Mr. Mohammed Fazil.

The main focus of this workshop was to train and create awareness among the students about the wider scope and importance of having knowledge on android operating system, its working and uses. The two day session was oriented both on practical and theory aspects of android, but was more stressed on practical concepts where students had much of hands-on experience and exposed to android OS concepts, application creation on smart phone  etc.  Enrollment and participation of student’s in the workshop from various other colleges – AMC, Vijaya College, i-cat made it a remarkable success.
